A coat entirely embroidered with mohair thread. The mohair thread has a beautiful, full, woolly texture that allows for creative manipulation. Embroidering the thread in small loops on silk creates a 3D texture. The smaller the loops, the darker the texture; the wider the loops, the lighter. Embroidering in harmony with the coat's design creates folds and shadows. The threads run along the coat, giving the illusion that it is swaying in the wind.
