HEIDI KOERS P.M.K.D

For Heidi Koers, 1976 from Haarlem, creating an artwork is like drawing with a needle and thread. By playing with different stitches, thick and thin threads, shadow and relief is created within the artwork. By letting the end threads hang she creates a dramatic effect within the artwork. They form the movement and fantasy of the project.

For P.M.K.D she mainly gets her inspiration from: textile qualities & textures, composition play, color combinations, fashion and fashion photography in which she sometimes uses herself as a model.

Playing with all these elements together form a start for a new project that keeps recreating itself in the process.
